Sylvia graduated from the University of Melbourne with a Master’s degree in Management (Accounting and Finance), and completed her Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance at the University of Western Australia. Her years of study and life experience in Australia have given her a deep understanding of the education systems, youth development pathways, and cross-cultural communication between China and Australia, laying a solid foundation for her subsequent dedication to international talent development and youth career services.

Professionally, Sylvia previously worked in the consulting departments of leading international professional services firms including PwC, EY, and Deloitte, where she accumulated extensive experience in management consulting, risk consulting, technology consulting, and transaction advisory. She has served clients across various industries and has developed strong capabilities in business analysis, project management, cross-functional collaboration, and client communication. Based on her in-depth understanding of the career development challenges faced by international students and the talent needs of employers, Sylvia later founded Chongqing NewPath and currently serves as its Chief Executive Officer. The company focuses on career development services for university students and international students, helping many students with career planning, resume optimization, and interview coaching, enabling them to successfully secure their ideal offers.

In terms of youth organization and event participation, Sylvia actively engages in the planning and execution of activities for the Chengdu Chapter of ACYPI Australia-China Young Professionals Initiative. She is committed to promoting career development, resource connection, and exchange among young professionals from China and Australia. She also continues to follow events organized by the Australian Chamber of Commerce and other China-Australia business exchange platforms. Through ACYPI, Sylvia hopes to connect more young talents, business representatives, and industry resources from both countries, contributing to the development of the local China-Australia young professionals community in Chengdu.
