Meet the Team!

Michelle is a PhD researcher at UNSW Business School, with a focus on Australia-China engagement. She comes from an international professional background with 7 years of experience in innovation, global brand management and cross-border strategy. 

Since 2022, she has continued her academic journey at UNSW, completing two master's degrees in international business and business research prior to commencing her PhD. Alongside her research, she is an avid educator and passionate about teaching and supporting students as they develop into young leaders.

Growing up in Australia, Michelle has always remained deeply connected to her Chinese heritage, particularly her Shanghainese roots. Her international exchange at Fudan University in Shanghai was one of her most formative experiences, deepening her appreciation for Chinese culture and history. In her role at ACYPI, Michelle is inspired to promote warm and meaningful spaces for dialogue and connection across Australian-Chinese communities.
