Eric Gao is a highly recognised figure in the Australian financial sector, known for his profound experience and advocacy in wealth management, asset management, and fintech innovation. With nearly two decades of industry experience, he has successfully established Boman Group and its subsidiary AllFin as pioneering institutions in the field.

In April 2011, Eric founded Boman Group. Leveraging the technology boom in Australia, the group transitioned from focusing solely on wealth management to becoming a fund management company specialising in technology, healthcare, ESG, and alternative assets. The company’s investment strategies encompass early-stage venture capital, private equity, fund of funds, IPOs, and private credit. Boman Group holds an Australian financial services license, offering comprehensive fund management, trustee, and wealth management services.

In July 2016, Eric launched AllFin, a subsidiary of Boman Group. AllFin is a research platform established in Australia, aimed at providing professional and in-depth research services for the Australian and global financial markets.

In 2018, Eric was honoured with the Golden Wattle Award, being named one of the Top 10 Outstanding Chinese Youths in Australia by the Australia-China Youth Business Association and the Australia-China Parliamentary Friendship Group. In 2024, Eric was honored with the Business Achievement Award at the 16th Australia China Alumni Awards. In 2025, Eric received the Entrepreneurship Award at the Chinese Australian Achievers Awards.
