Diversity & Inclusion: Women in Leadership

ACYPI and Allens are excited to invite you to join us for an evening with Ms Cynthia Griffin, U.S. Consul General in Perth, to share her experiences in leadership from a local, national and international perspective.

Date: Thursday, 10th December 2015
Time:  5:30pm to 7:30pm
Location: Allens, QV1 Building, level 37, 250 St Georges Terrace, Perth WA 6000

RSVP by 27th November HERE

According to the 2012 Census, women hold less than 10% of executive positions in the ASX 200, and only 6% of line management positions. This is in contrast to the public sector, where, according to Ernst and Young’s “Worldwide Index of Women as Public Sector Leaders 2012”, 37% of leaders are women, giving Australia second place ranking.

So what will encourage and sponsor women to take up leadership positions? This event gives the opportunity to step back, reflect and refocus on the contribution made by women and ways to improve gender equality.

This event marks the inaugural event of the ACYPI Diversity & Inclusion event series, and together with Allens, we invite you to join us as we listen to an accomplished and aspiring woman, Ms. Cynthia Griffin, reflecting on her own career journey.
