Melbourne | The Australia-ASEAN Dialogue: Tracing 40 years of partnership

ASEAN

Deakin University’s Centre for Citizenship and Globalisation and Asialink are delighted to invite you to the “Successes and Challenges: 40 Years of ASEAN-Australia Dialogue Partnership” Conference and the launch of The Australia-ASEAN Dialogue: Tracing 40 Years of Partnership. The book is edited by Dr Sally Percival Wood and Professor Baogang He from Deakin University and will be launched by Professor the Hon Gareth Evans AC QC.

In 2014, Australia and ASEAN mark the 40th anniversary of Dialogue Partnership. This milestone has been widely recognised with events across Southeast Asia and Australia. It is an important opportunity to reflect on and acknowledge the currents of engagement that have developed since 1974 – the successes and challenges that have shaped this relationship.

We hope you can join us for this remarkable opportunity to hear from experts from both Australia and Southeast Asia.
