Beijing | FROM FARM TO TABLE – A conversation about organic food in Beijing

Recently the ACYPI Beijing Chapter, supported by Fat Face, had a great evening hosting  “From Farm to Table: A conversation about organic farming in Beijing”. Guests were served a delicious healthy organic dinner of Yunnan Cuisine from Sue Zhou’s restaurant Hani Gejiu. Following dinner our guest speakers, Alicia Noel, an MBA professor at China Agricultural University and speaker on organic farming issues in China and Dr Peihwa Ho, brilliant scientist, researcher and speaker, who is heavily invoked in China’s agricultural industry, gave us the inside information on China’s organic farming industry. We all came away from the evening much more conscious about what are consuming every day here in Beijing with tips on the best of Beijng’s organic farms and how to purchase pesticide-free groceries.
