The Australia-China Young Professionals Initiative (ACYPI) is the premier platform for young professionals to engage with the Australia-China relationship. Through events in Australia and China, we connect young professionals to significant commercial, political and academic leaders, and provide networking opportunities across sectors. Our events are focused on helping young professionals develop a deeper understanding of the issues facing business in Australia and China.
Our goals are to:
Encourage young professionals to engage with the Australia-China relationship and develop strong personal relationships by holding free, open events and through other initiatives;
Build and maintain quality relationships within our committees, our membership community, and with events collaborators; and
Achieve excellence in our operation at all levels, and conduct ourselves in a way that encourages people to become and remain involved in, and build and retain their connection to, our community.
Since being established in December 2010, thousands of young professionals have attended ACYPI events in both countries, with speakers including (amongst many others):
Elmer Funke Kupper (CEO, ASX)
John Lord AM (Chairman, Huawei Australia)
Graham Hodges (Deputy CEO, ANZ)
